What a year can do to your memory.I worked hard for 35km, knowing the last 10 km is easy and flat. Then I got trashed by that headwind back to the finish. I lost a lot of time in the last 10km. This is one tough short race.
B20 Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 It was a nice race.However, it should start earlier.A 7h30 start would have made a big difference with heat. I had to back off completely on the single track with the dust, cause I couldn't see the trail, following the guys in front of me.The lack of ascents on the last 10km was replaced with all the sand.

Behalwe v die afstand wat redelik uit was dink ek dit was great race

Behalwe v die afstand wat redelik uit was dink ek dit was great raceJaco, jy was seker te vinnig vir die wind. Daar was baie meer sand as voorige jare, maar dit is maar deel van mtb. Ek stem saam, dit is n great race. Dis hoekom ek maar elke 2 de jaar terug kom. Die nuwe single track is ook nice, maar die stof het gemaak dat almal maar moet afrek, want jy kon skaars die ou voor jou sien.

My computer was met die night ride Vrydag aand onder water en het op 20km ophou werk, so ek weet nie wat die totale afatand was nie.
