Craig Stubbs Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Very brave bud. I've been down that route calculation wise, but no feasible after sales service is going to make your 36k seem rather expensive if something happens to her. Doesn't happen often, but sadly, bikes break. Lets hope yours doesn't!

Yeah it's a risk I was/am willing to take, but I'll be in Europe next year anyway so it only has to last this year without any problems. The main thing i was concerned about is the cylinder used to change the geometry, there is a reasonable chance that something could happen to that, but I've read that if it fails it just means you ride in permanent 160mm mode, so that's not too bad! We'll see what happens.
