Fox 32 Float FIT Fork conversion to CTD

Has anyone ever convert a normal Fox 32 Float FIT fork to a CTD fork with remote lockout? My current fork is not CTD but I would like to pair it with my rear shock that is already CTD and came with a remote.

Any advice would be appreciated.

That will be a significant downgrade imo.

You should say why you hold this opinion.

I have CTD on my bike front and rear but not remote actuated. I often ride the fork fully open ( Descend) with the rear in Trail mode. If you lock the modes together via a common remote you lose this flexibility. Dunno if OP's suspension also has the Trail adjust features but you lose this too when you fit a remote.

I have a remote for my rear CTD shock but I have to manually operate my none-CTD front shock. I would like to be able to operate both shocks with the single remote.

Can your normal fork be turned into a CTD fork? Are the internals between the two not different, for example to fit a remote for remote lock out if the shock already has a lock out option can be done

Apparently I can replace my current damper with a CTD damper but I want to see if there is someone who's done this before

What damper is currently in there? If it's an older RL or RLC, you're in for a new damper and remote splitter at about R 3 500.
