WesselvdWalt Posted June 18, 2015 Share Hey Guys, In the last week I've been in 7 provinces, busy times.Last night I sat with our route guys down here to catch up and fine tune some things.Permissions are all set and paper work up to date. I'm not implementing some minor change on route, and tomorrow we'll give the whole route a once over, and do the sign-off. 36 events a year around our country, so bear with me being "late" with the route.It's going to be a route thats vastly different from anything you've ridden before at Grabouw, and lets hope you are going to like it! Some info on distances and specs are as follows: Fun Race: 20.4km / 320m ascentHalf-Marathon: 34km / 600m ascent (currently will try squeeze out another couple km's)Marathon: 67km / 1400m ascent Spending tomorrow all day on the ground to put everything in place.Routes will then be final, and profiles etc uploaded. At the moment though we hardly have time to look up and at the horizon.Best to implement something like this in the new year. It's not just my decision... no matter how quick and efficient it is We don't sell the food or drinks ourselves, nor take a cut of it and have to consult with vendors long before event day.
