was a tough route, the continuous undulation was a lil bit of a killer for the pins.

Ha, I was riding the halfie, and at the 30ish kay mark a bunch of us were dicing each other up a hill...hike-a-bike style. It was hilarious checking okes trying to out-push one another...The undulation combined with that devil wind worked together as a killer...My time was 50 minutes slower than Grabouw...

ja i must say that wind sure stuffed up a few people's seedings and standings in the series... But then again we got to ride or bikes and had a moerse klomp fun at the same time.

I really enjoyed the 70km route. It was a little harder than I thought it would be. The single track near Hermanus was amazing, It is incredible what trails are hidden away on the side of a mountain, I didn't even know that section was there.

The wind was really helpful in the first 20km, but we really paid for it later in the race.

I was running in 2nd in sub-vets and around 10th overall when me and another guy missed an arrow that had been blown over and we lost about 2 minutes and a whole lot of places. I eventually dragged myself back to 3rd in sub vets and 16th overall. My only complaint is that compared to the Grabouw event the signage was lacking again.

Excellent ride

Wind was tough, route was tough as well with lots of climbing and lots and lots of awesome single track

Great stuff, pity the weather did not really allow a nice vibe afterwards

Looking forward to next years events
