Leadville 100

So, my brother and I do Sani every year - he comes from Australia, I come from Benoni.  Both just as far from civilization as each other... cough...

 

This year our combined age is 100 so my boet says it's time to tick one off the bucket list - Leadville 100.

 

Anyone done it?  Any idea of how hard it is to get an entry?

Not hard to get an entry if you are quick - it's a hard ride because of the altitude and there are a few long sustained climbs.

 

Consider sleeping in a high altitude tent for 6 - 8 weeks before to get altitude acclimatised - alternately  EPO...
