Heard/saw something interesting the other day.

 

Did you know that the only difference between the SLX and XT levers are the caps on the housings? They are even shipped with both if you order TX ........ Or so it seems. So why pay more?

 

Or was this just an anomaly?

Are you referring to brake levers or shift (triggers). Maybe it's only me that's confused.

 

I have XT brakes, a mate SLX. I've noticed I have an adjustment for Freestroke. Not sure on weight or anything else. Differences are most likely small internal things.
