'My Content' settings

Does anyone know if it is possible to stop following updates once you have commented on a topic?

With the way some topics have gone south lately I sometimes think it would be better to not see some things once it has gone past a point.

 

Sure, you could just not open the new items listed under My Content or clicking on thread in whatever section it is under, but, I'm wondering if you could hide it on a more permanent basis.

Click on your username and a popup menu will apprear.

There is a my content on the left and a content | follow on the right. Click on the one on the right and you will see your subscribed threads.

Just click "change" next to the thread you want and choose "stop following"

Sorry I should clarify by clicking on your username I meant at the top right on the screen where the little settings cog is.

I stand under correction, but, I think we are talking about different things.

Am I right in assuming you mean when you actually click on Follow Topic?

I am talking about when you have just responded to a topic and it shows that others have replied to the same thread.

 

EDIT: For example, the below shows what I have commented on and that there are new updates to the topics. I'm talking about hiding/removing those, if possible.

Ah then we are taking about different things, I thought you were still getting notifications that you didnt want.

That function seems to be a summary and is probably a feature on the backend rather than a user configurable function.

I dont use unless I cant find a topic that I wanted to check activity on.
