I am looking to get myself a indoor trainer and after some research it came down to these 2.

Any info to help me decide will be really appreciated.

Thanks

I bought the JetBlack fluid trainer a year ago. I had an Elite one before that but not the fluid one. I must say I am very happy with the JetBlack. Its quiet and has a very smooth increase in resistance as you pedal faster. Quite realistic resistance for the speed you are going. It also has a rubber thing around the roller that the wheel sits on so there is no slippage at all and your tyres will last longer than the knurled ones.

That said, I have not ridden on the Tacx

Yeah I'm on the Z1 fluid trainer as well. Suits my needs and wasn't too expensive. There's even one on the hub classified for a steal at the moment:)

I am leaning towards the Z1 as well - found the classify ad. Thanks
