Edge 500 doesn't display L\R balance - Stages

My garmin edge 500 doesn't display any values for my power balance left or right with my Stages pm. I have updated the software on the stages and reinstall the garmin 500 software and still no balance. I have paired and calibrated the pm but no luck.

 

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere?

Edge has v3.30 installed

I use a Stages pm as well, and was under the impression that it can't show balance because it only measures on the one side. Maybe that's wrong, but it's what I was told.

Stages can't show left/right balance. Or even a guesstimate like other PMs.

 

Doesn't matter too much in the real world though.

I have a stages power meter and it doesn't show a balance between left and right. It will only show power from your left leg. 

 

Its still very accurate though
