I found that when chomping gels and glugging energy drinks on the bike, I needed to drink far more.

 

I'm low carb now and find that I require far less water and still drink to thirst. Not sure if anyone else has encountered that too?

Buy it, or just make it yourself.

Many recipes for fat bombs - adding some gelatin and maybe another ingredient (maltodextrin) would keep it from melting.

It's the MCT oil in these that provides "fast" energy for you as it is the ketogenic equivalent of what sugar is in a carb based diet.

 

I'd just make these type of things myself and use MCT oil instead of other oils.

Be warned, not everybody's gut reacts favorably to MCT.
