Shower facilities near ABSA towers Joburg

Hi Guys, I'm starting work at ABSA Towers from 1 November.

 

 

I currently commute to Braam using Caroline/Enoch Sontonga/Jorisson.

 

Any advice/help would be really appreciated.

From there, whenever I cycled to Maboneng, I went as far as the civic centre and then down the Rea Vaia Bus lane as far as the one that runs west-east until towers.

 

On the way back, same thing down the bus lane in Commissioner street and up Rissik back to Braamfontein.

Bike parking still available in underground parking and shower facilities at the Absa gym which cost around R200 pm. For some reason they frown upon showers only no idea why.

R200 a month so I can take a shower when I cycle to work once in a while... neh. Cool that theres bike parking though. Thanks

Cool, have been considering riding in the bus lanes... what do you do if a bus/taxi is coming up behind you?
