Skylark Posted August 29, 2015 Share That looks like a lot more than paint cracking and if it is just paint then why is it cracking all the way around? That's looks like a carbon frame should be reasonable easy and safe to get it fixed in that location?
gpcar Posted August 29, 2015 Share Well I did have a serious fall. So I'm assuming it's cracked.

Cippo Posted August 30, 2015 Share is it worth repairing though?Make contact with BogusOne for an assesment if you don't have insurance. Alternatively if you have insurance just claim for a new frame.

DarthVader911 Posted August 30, 2015 Share I've fixed 2 Scott Spark 30's (full carbon frame) with similar damage. What I've found with the Sparks is that the BB's aluminuim threaded inserts start corroding from water ingestion between the carbon and the insert. This causes corrosion that eventually causes the inserts to break free from the frame and start spinning in the frame. Both repairs have held up so far.
