Rockshox Reba RLT vs SID RL

i need a new fork for my Specialized Epic 29r Comp

i see the Reba RL(t) and Sid are more or less the same price.

is it worth buying this SID ? weight isnt an issue....

 

also is there such a big defference between a Reba and SID ?

REBA RLT, every single time. Stiffer, more robust and a far better set of adjustments. Only reason the SID is more expensive is due to the (frankly minimal) weight savings. But those weight savings come at a performance cost, where the SID isn't as stiff as the Reba.

Sid is without a doubt the worst fork I have ever owned...bitch to setup...Reba on the other hand, probably the best, so much so that I have a spare one sitting in my spares box that I don't have a bike for yet...but I know I will use it somewhere.
