BarHugger Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 You bunch of wusses.....all scared to do a Magoebaskloof Marathon. Playing it safe with the 40km.........too scared for the climbs hey!!! PS: I also leave my climbing legs at home when visiting the area........only joking about being wusses......the mountains can be brutal if you arrive there thinking it will be a nice Sunday morning outing.......one can easily develop that diesel taste in the mouth very early in the race. Fun times?Yip, too much......with amazing nice single track and service roads in the plantations and indigenous forests.....while riding in the shade most of the time. Also not to much rocks and dust......just a bit mud here and there to keep things interesting. The major fun is however the scenery after the climbs......and that final single track back to the school.
