I recently sold a 2008 Mongoose Meteora team and a 2004 Thunderball (both hard tails), for about 4500 each, but saw a few Boot R's going for about 6500. all about what the buyer is willing to pay at the end of the day. If all else fail, split the bike up into spares before sale, will get way more for it then.

Bicycle Blue Book is always a good place to start. However parts and upgrades do play a role as well as the current market.

26er Mongoose will struggle to crack R10k even as it is in good condition with some nice parts.
