Condensed answer No

Longer answer

No I would have preferred Contador to remained uninjured and rather been demolished, beaten (choose any synonym) fair and square by Froome when he arrives in Paris wearing yellow.

Fair enough. ^_^

and Maybe he recovers...

Like Contador or not he is a hard man. Doesn't bitch and make excuses. Suffers in silence. He can't even get out the saddle at the moment, and that's how he rides. Yes the struggles on. It's stuff like that that attracts me to the sport.

He's classy hey, HM

Indeed

Without a doubt, most successful GC rider of his generation

He's not everyone's cup of tea, and the whole steak saga left me cold, but I do like his determination. As you say, he doesn't whine much on the road.

Super stoked for GvA, one of my favorite riders by far (even more the Sagan :whistling: )

That sounds dangerously sacrilegious! Next you're going to tell us that Hinault is greater than Merckx. :whistling:

I shall not since I didn't suggest that all.:whistling:

It would have been a great rivalry though!

"It’s becoming a different kind of Tour for me, where I have to go day by day and perhaps change my objectives. I have to see if I can recover for the Pyrenees and if I can’t then I’ll have to wait for my moment in the Alps."

Smart, very smart, since you would lose that argument.
