Baviaanskloof - Platform Bikerack friendly?

I did Baviaans with a 3 bike Buzzrack end last year without any hassles.  Drive a Disco so the air suspension provided ALOT of ground clearance where needed, but to be honest, I cannot remember it being very tricky apart from one or two instances.

Thanks for the feedback...I have the exact same rack but reckon the Disco has quite a bit more clearance than the Forester so I might battle more in certain sections.

There were some overgrown areas, so a roofrack might be prone to a strike from a branch or two, which might not be that good for a bike. 

 

I'll rather take my chances with a platform rack.

That is what DJR also mentioned and I remeber from going through on the bike and previously with the car that there are some low hanging branches.

I can probably try and borrow one but usually find them a bit of a hassle.
