Miway insurance claim goes one way

Look, MiWay is cheap. They have a dedicated MTB department and they *look* the part.

 

Yeah. There's invariably a reason for that. It's pointless having cheap insurance if they don't pay claims.

 

A few years ago my wife's little brother was involved in a car accident. Outsurance was the company in question. The other driver drove through a stop street and collided with his car. It turns out it was standard practice for Outsurance to apportion blame. 80:20. So because my brother in law was only 20% to blame for the accident they paid out 80% of his claim.

 

We were dumbstruck.
