Event Name: Ezemvelo Ride The Ridge MTB Challenge
When: 2 April 2016
Where: Ezemvelo Nature Reserve, Bronkhorstspruit, Gauteng
Category: MTB

Ride the hills where the Wilge River cuts through the ‘rust pigmented’ sandstone formations to form spectacular cliffs made up of fossilised red sand dunes, an extension of the ancient desert landscape of the Magabeng Plateau.

Enjoy great trails with loads of single track and stunning 360°views over true African landscapes from the top of the ridge. Be surrounded by abundant wildlife and curious meerkat as spectators and come home to a great race village in a beautiful setting next to the dam where you can chill in the beer tent or next to the swimming pool under big old African trees.
