Well done, cK. I know for a fact that my level of fitness would not have allowed me to finish or remain unlapped. Respect! And respect for pushing yourself...

I would probably only be able to finish 3 laps in the time that my peers would have done their 5 laps.  And would probably have taken some wounds for my effort.

I wonder what they will dish up for Helderberg?  I can guarantee lots of climbing though. That Bikini Beach climbs are a killer to my heart rate.  I also saw them building some nice sections using fallen trees.

Everyone should ride a few XCO races. I did a couple years ago. I'd like to do a few more and get my wife to experience it too, but I need to buy an XC bike first...
