Check midmarmile.co.za for details . Germiston lake is fine, there are swimming clubs situated there afaik...emmerentia dam aslo has swimmers on a regular basis.

_David_ Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Modderfontein Nature Reserve? Edit: Swimming or wading in any of the dams or bodies of water within the reserve is strictly prohibited unless doing so is necessary to fulfill a prescribed management objective.
Davey_Jones Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 I swim in Germiston often and its very clean and warm. We swim with a Tri club though and you need to be part of that club if you want to swim with us. Not sure if its open otherwise for swimming. Pm me if you want details on the Tri Club.
