So went for my first spin now. Wow. What a freaking awesome bike. This is my first carbon frame and the softness of the ride was what impressed me the most.

 

The gear changes were actually quite smooth and precise which I liked. I did drop a chain though which means something probably needs a tweak. Gonna take it for a service next week as well.

 

And then the wheels. On the positive I did some Personal bests on the flats. On the descents though with the wind blowing hecticly, it was freaking scary. Needed to really concentrate and hold my balance.

The group set on that Matrix is a re-branded Microshift. They are pretty good, comparable to Dura Ace in quality, but as cheap as 105.

 

The rebrand on yours is a Driveline. Microshift is also sold under the name of Sunrace and at one time, Token. Driveline actually are better known for their cranksets

I had a Raleigh Rc6000 carbon like you described. I loved it. Sold it to buy an engagement ring???? was probably worth it...

 

That bike you bought is full of carbon and looks cool! Which is all that matters????
