Safe to ride on a wheel that has buckled?

So after a ride on the weekend and a few light jumps, my tire went wavy. I ran into Bear Grills that gave it a few whacks and it's relatively straight again.

Is it safe to ride on this rim? I don't really want to spend money, but also don't want to do a jump and have the wheel go yo-yo on the landing.

The " I ran into Bear Grills that gave it a few whacks and it's relatively straight again. " he might have damaged the rim itself. Normally when I wheel goes wavy it just needs a true i.e tightening of the spokes which will pull the wheel straight again.

I just need someone to tell me it's going to be okay, and I can eat my money instead of spending it on rubber  :w00t:

Any suggestions for cheap (but ok) second hand rims? I don't think the bike is worth R1000, haha. It's a mongoose.

Looked like this:

" a few light jumps " should NEVER do that to a proper bike. I have what would be considered to be entry level bike, and my wheels have not done that, and I am not afraid of hoofing it over a jump or three. Gorge at Hoogekraal would be an example of what I can hit every now and then. The worst I have done to date is kill a couple hubs and pop a spoke or two, but not in any way or fashion like what you have managed to accomplish.

Damn. If it was a 29, I have a front wheel with pretty much a brand new tire that I would've let you have for a song.

I'm a pretty good singer, if anyone else is thinking of parting with their wheels for a song.
