First road bike

Please hubbers help me out with some advice:

I have been checking out secondhand road bikes for a while and found one now  which I think might be the one. But since I don't have a sound knowledge about road bikes I am obviously worried that I might be either paying to much or up with a bike that is not completely suitable for my needs.

It is a Cannondale Supersix Evo 3 (Ultegra), 2014, and I can get it for 20k. Will spend about 2 more to get a few things replaced. I want to use it for training 2 - 3 times during the week on the trainer or road (weekends are for the MTB) and do 1 to 2 races a month. Oh and I am a lady - do I rather have to opt for a women's specific? Or is that purely personal choice?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

There are a few different levels of supersix bikes avaliable , hi mod is better carbon, but a decent supersix 2014 with full ultegra sounds like a good deal. What wheels are on it?

Mavic Aksium (I think these are the original wheels the bike came out with).

That's a bargain for a 2014 model with Ultegra. If the condition is good, I would take it if I was you.

Don't worry too much about a woman specific. You can easily swap out a few parts that it make it pretty close to a woman specific.

In fact most woman specific bikes are mens bikes with a girly paint job, shorter stem, narrower bars and a wider saddle
