Have a Polar CS500 lying in a drawer I could sell. Has all those functions, not sure on the battery life left on the speed and cadence sensor though... if they run flat you have to replace them.

I have the polar cs200 but my cadence sensors battery is flat but i cant replace the battery it is 1 unit so looks like i have 2 buy a sensor again sometime

Well is is gold plated and makes you tea each morning before you head out, a massage when you come back and doesn't complain if you see other Gps units on the side... ;)

Soz, auto correct. Should be R1000

where you place the k after the number is very important - lol

Good old cateye enduro 8 has worked well for me. I prefer the wired computers as somewhere further down the trail I have had an experience with some strange readings (polar cs 200) while going through a pass. Magnetic rock?

Those temps you normally get early in the morning . And then it looks like this the next morning .

Main thing for me with a trip computer was the size of the display . Besides the fact that I am night blind I am also not really eagle sighted during the day and you wanna be able to see what is going on with your trip meter when your teeth are rattling going down some old forgotten oxwagon trail !

Mntboy, I have snow pics like dirtrider, but I didn't have the temp gauge...next time.

As dirtrider says its the next morning after the snow when the sky is clear, then the cold reaches unbearable levels, for this you get cables frozen in housing - no gears, freewheel freezes and stops working, water bottles go solid and if you spit on a tyre to find a hole to plug, then it freezes before it can bubble. You have to have a sense of humour along with your sense of adventure.
