I'm not involved with the MTB race itself, but with a travel agent we can assist in your planning around the race in terms of flights and accommodation.

Two accommodation options are available, and flights can be adjusted around the race to allow you to make a holiday of it and recover with some sun, sand and cocktails.

[Long Wheel Base]

I was lucky enough to be able to race a 2 day road stage race while in Mauritius for honeymoon and all I can say is it's freaking hot and humid. I am not used to racing in those conditions. Also, don't think those islanders can't ride bicycles!!!

But given the opportunity I would do it again. Had been planning to go November last year and then had to cancel it when my wife fell pregnant. All that means is next time I race there my lightie will be there watching????
