SRM Power Meter Battery

My SRM power meter battery has gone flat. The norm would be to take it back to the SRM importer who then sends it back to SRM in Germany where they swap the battery. About a month or more later you get your crank and power meter back. Last year this was R 3 800.00, with Zuma's clever financial decisions the cost will probably be somewhere around R 5 000.00

I have seen on various sites that people have done this themselves. Anybody out there on the bike hub done it? Are the batteries available in SA?

Any advice will be appreciated.

You're in luck. Swapped the battery in my previous SRM (1x MTB version) - 15 minute job. I had to import the batteries and brought in a pack of the stuff.

Here are a couple of options:

And another: http://www.cyclohire.co.uk/srmbatterychange.html

I'm happy to send you a couple of batteries - just drop me a mail.

Cheers,

Deon
