Crit racing in KZN

4 Race days at Dezzi Raceway in Port Shepstone. One in each of May, June, July & August i believe. Hard criterium style racing for an hour or so.

How does it work

 

Not really a Crit (no sprint laps till the last), but as close as you going to get.

 

More like an hour road race on a race track, after an hour the bell rings and that lap is the sprint for the win.

 

It's good fun hard racing on a tight technical course and if the wind blows its extra fun. We had +50kph winds last year and a few of the lighter guys with deep sections had their wheels blown out from underneath them at the one hair pin corner.

I have looked at Chainworx site, and updates like their customer support is slow. 

 

Someone that want to organise something like that can have a look at some overseas events and youtube.
