Entry level road bike

Looking for a decent new road bike for around R12k

 

Been looking at the Giant Defy 3 and the Titan Stryker Expert, any thoughts?

Mainly going to be used for recreational rides for bit of exercise.  Both have Sora components.  Will this be sufficient or should a look for something with Tiagra 10speed?

Are you specifically looking for new?

Can get something with much better kit in the classifieds for R12k, especially in the Western Cape.
