About to enter my first ever event and I am a bit confused by the process. I select the distance (Tour Durban btw) then I need to select a category.

 

As a day licence entrant would I be

 

CSA Lic Men Vet 40-44

 

or

 

open/seeded

 

any help is appreciated

This, even with a CSA ordinary lic open/seeded must be selected. The CSA Lic option is only for that are fully lic.

You really don't want to race vets for your first ever race????

They won't allow you to race Vets anyway.

 

Last year was a Royal mess w.r.t. non-licensees entered in the licensed cats. Number collection had lots of unhappy people getting reseeded.

 

They split the groups into 5 year age groups resulting in 20-25 per group. Not that I was complaining!
