Reba vs Revelation vs Pike?

If money is no object the Pike is a far superior fork for a tiny weight penalty. I've had the

Revelation RT3 and the Pike and the Pike is amazing - feels far more plush, planted and not so easily overwhelmed. That said - the Rev is a pretty decent fork also.

I use the Pike for XC and general trail riding (including a bit of more gnarly stuff) and it's awesome.

Do you have the Pike on an XC type frame?

Slight high jack of the thread... Who is the best person to help me fine tune the setup of my Pike in Cape Town?

I went from a Revelation to a Reba and recently back to a Revelation although its a XX World Cup not the latest incarnation..

There is a definite improvement in the midstroke(compression) and the dampening does not get overwhelmed as easily. Its most noticeable on fast rocky stuff and and increased traction on rough corners. I enjoy trails and jumps but I also race a bit, so my bike must be able to do it all, but I think one must also be realistic and If you're only going to benefit from something 1% of the time, It might not be worth it.

I have no experience on a Pike but I would recommend the Rev unless you're pushing your bike beyond what its intended for to often, then I would probably just get a new bike..
