I have an MRI booked for later next week.Sounds like what they have discovered is not exactly new - osteophytes usually develop over long periods The question is how fast it is developing, if at all - unless you have pain normally, there is probably no rush to sort it out - approach surgery cautiously - for a while anyway - take multiple opinions.... What format do you have the x-rays in? slides or images?
