Crack in carbon frame

What is the best way to determine if a small crack that is visible at the junction of the top tube and seat tube is purely cosmic (just in paint) or a serious problem starting to develop. Its been visible for the last four months and about 2 mm long. Does not increase in size or show movement if pressure is applied from the side. Any ideas will help. I will post a picture tomorrow.

if under warranty both should be covered, take the bike to the LBS you purchased it from and send it back to distributors

Best advice is to take it back to your LBS. unless you bought it second hand
