Hi guys. Hope you can help. I have a set of  old Campagnolo Scirocco G3's with 9 speed Campagnolo free body and cassette. What will I have to change to use the set as training wheels on Shimano 11 speed group set ? 1: Can I change the free body to Shimano free body to fit 11 speed Shimano cassette ? 2: Or can I fit a 11 speed Campagnolo cassette on the existing free body and will it work on Shimano 11 speed ?. This being my training wheels I would like to go the cheapest option. Thank you for the help.

Don't take my word for it but I have heard that 11sp works on all platforms, Shimano, Campy, SRAM.

You can run a Campy cassette with a Shimano setup etc.

So you'll be able to fit a 11speed cassette on there and it should word perfectly fine.

You might need a thing spacer between the cassette and the freewheel body (easily available) to get the spacing right (so that the cassette does not tighten/rub against the spokes)

Good luck.

The only problem is that it will be probably be cheaper to buy a whole new wheelset for what you are going to pay for a Campag cassette.

Hahhahaha.

It's not THAT bad.  ;)

Go chorus or lower.  The hi-end stuff is just not value for money.
