Creaking rear wheel

Any advice on a good quality rear mtb 29" wheel ?

My cycle shop already tried several fixes but it only lasts around 200km before getting noisy again. Something to do with the spokes.

Not to be funny, but which cycle shop you taking it to?

I see you are in Walkerville...

Have you tried to spray some light oil on the spoke nipples where they touch the rim. I found that the spokes creak if they are too loose.

A creak on a bike can come from anywhere. Sound travels very well through the frame. You can narrow it down to the rear wheel by trying another wheel. Besides the spokes you can remove the cassette and grease between the cassette and the freewheel body, this sometimes can creak. Also strip and check the freewheel body and axle for signs of damage. I had a massive creak once on my back wheel and it turns out the rear axle was cracked. I rode the bike until the axle had broken into two pieces.

Other places to check are the pedal threads, the bottom bracket and the seat post. These are cheap and easy to grease and should be the first things you grease if there are noises. If this doesn't work, then grease the cassette onto the hub. If there are still creaks, then you should consider that maybe something somewhere is cracked.
