increased fork travel - what to do with spacers

I have done a search and cannot find an answer - hence the post.

I am in the process of getting a fork with increased travel (130mm to 140mm), what I would like to know is, do I need to lower my stem by 10mm as well to maintain the status quo?

I am just concerned that the front end will now be "too high" and hinder me / wander too much on the steep ascents.

yep. As you said. Unless you want to try the higher setup, you'll need to remove a spacer.

Thanks Myles. That's what I thought. Going to have quite a slack head angle so will drop the stem.

you will probably run more sag on the 140mm fork so you may want take that into consideration.
