Word of advice boeta;  next time do your research before wanting to blast someones intelligence.

Yes you were correct the link I gave was for 2015, so I bow to your superior googling and my oversight for not checking it 100% before posting.  Am sure you can now do a happy dance that you managed to score a point ;)

Please use some of your intelligence and try to note that I blast your tone rather than your intelligence, in that you try to bash Sky and Froome at every opportunity... which is rather sad really!!

I wasn't talking about the link or team Sky, was talking about you trying to blast at me.

I’m bound to repeat some of the things I wrote while we were on the road yesterday – please excuse me, but what an amazing day we had!! And this is more of a “day out” report than a race report.

Ok First things first. This guy made our day yesterday!

We were in the car park next to the signing-on area when all the team buses started arriving. When the Lampre-Merida team bus came in the driver of the bus saw Wendy with her flag and called to LM, who was sitting behind him, to come look. When the bus was parked up LM jumped out and came to talk to us. Wendy wanted a hug from him and then we took some photo's and had a chat about the race and about JVR's crash the day before. What a pleasure to talk to. We wished him luck and told him we'd be watching for him on the road . . .

Later on when the riders came past where we'd parked, around the 28km to go mark, LM saw the flags on the car and, whilst riding flat out in the Froome group, gave Wendy a smile and a wave.

This guy is unbelievable!

Also, every DDD car that went passed us also gave us a beep and a wave. Top guys.

Our day . . .

We left home early and drove to Sabiñánigo. We got there well before the crowds and managed to park on the race route, around the 24km mark, right between the signing-on area and the helicopter landing field! Not long afterwards the rest of the street parking filled up and then the police came and taped off all the cars. Then you’re stuck till after the race passes – but as we were on the race route itself we were in no hurry to go anywhere : -)

Once the car was parked we wandered down to a coffee shop next to the start line and had coffee while we watched then finish setting up the start.

The Vuelta promotional caravan was lining up on the road next to our car. These are the guys that throw out caps, sweets & keyrings and things to the crowds. Carrefour (supermarkets) are by far the biggest sponsor.
