That I can't answer for you.  For the same price you can get a NEW Giant Yokon FX or Mongoose Otero Super.  You are starting to see Quit nice full susser between R8000 and R10000.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The next MBR <?: prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />UKon> magazine will be testing most of the entry level full suspension bike and I am really looking forward to find out what they think about them.

Check MTBR.com for reviews of the 2004 NRS 2.

If I only had R5000 (I have lessLOL) and I was looking full suspension bike I would be seriously consider it.

Had a chance to ride a friends NRS two weeks ago, I normally ride a Merida hardtain, not sure of model but it was a carbon frame, full suspension, fox shock - It was an awesome bike to ride. Did some talking to some Mtb'ers in the know (being a ignorant roadie) and it is a highly recommended bike - I know that Bruce Reyneke keep praising this bike, even over newer bikes. LOL

I'm not trying to stir' date=' and I wouldn't know if it's a good buy, but what the hell is this all about?

I mean what does it add to have a concoction like that in the rear triangle? Surely it just makes the whole rear triangle less stiff...?

maybe it was meant to be the 3rd  triangleLOL

I was interested in the one on the hub (JHB), and asked some people. 1 person didn't have info on that model. 2 praised it and one person owned one and thoroughly enjoyed it. I asked why did he sell it then, and he admitted he wanted to keep up with the Jones family. Carbon, design, bling etc.

I was about to buy it and found out it was a large.
