Road Group rides,Linden and surround areas

hi guys

 

i recently moved up to Jhb from Cape Town,I must say its difficult to find a groupride around here,l'm been looking for group rides around Randburg,Northcliff and surround areas,tried joining the guys at Engen opposite The Baron but its quite a distance from me.

 

Anyone know of rides available around Randburg,Northcliff and surround areas that i can join?

There are several groups that go through the Linden area on week days.

They either start at Engen on Main or at the Dunkeld Circle, around 5am, think they pass through Linden over Beyers around 5:30 or so, jump on the group there and see if you like it.

Thank you,as I am new in Jhb,may you please provide me the exact location where i can jump in? i.e.. Engen on Main Avenue in Randburg?,where exactly is the Dunkeld Circle?.. please be patient with me,I'm familiarizing myself with the Jhb roads..

It will probably be best if you say in which suburb you stay or close to which rd (Republic, William Nicol, Main rd, Beyers Naude, etc).

Then the easiest would be to ride down Jan Smuts towards HydePark and up Buckingham to the Circle, it's about 10-15mins from there. So leave at 4:45, on Wednesdays and Fridays there are groups that leave the circle from 5am to 5:15am, alternatively you can meet up with them at about 5:05 on the corner of Jan Smuts and Gordan which is about mins from Multichoice, this is Friday's only Wednesday's they go up Conrad off of JanSmuts at about 5:03

We go right past multi choice on the engen rides.... Why not just take on at multi choice, anytime from 5:10/15

I stay just behind the Firestation next to Multichoice ...Hook up with the Engen guys at M/choice around 5ish and then cut back via Republic afterwards.

 

So that should fit in with your location as well
