Can I do this. I have a campag wheelset (freebody is Campag) and my wife's bike which has Shimano 105 has cracks all over her rims. So i want to use the wheelset. I have a campy cluster as well (10 speed) for the wheels.

What i want to know is If i put a campy 10 speed cluster on the wheel will a good bike shop be able to tune the rear shifting or is it a nightmare and the activation is all wrong.

Groupset is a Shimano 105 10 speed.

I am pretty certain i have seen this done before....

Is there anything specific you need to do ?

Not really - Put the wheel in and ride - you shouldn't need to adjust the RD as long as you using 10 spd cluster. 10spd cluster spacing are the same between Shitmano & Campy. Also check the ratio on the campy cluster is the same as the Shitmano, for chain length if there is a big difference then chain length might need changing.

The main diff between the 2 are the ramps, so you may find changing will make a bit more noise.

Lots of Campy riders use Shitmano clusters because they cheaper and you get a bigger selection of ratios.

I'm not telling you who they are though !!
