Put the R3K saving towards some light rubber and some socks.

That was for groupsets.Im a little worried about backup "incase" something happens, thats whats worrying me. Ive had no problems with merlin before. Local backup is always at the back of my mind

I'm yet to ride using anything more than Mavic Aksium Elites. Hardly the lightest set of wheels (understandably, shops aren't too keen on letting people test drive wheelsets). If I were to get a set of the 420s, would I legitimately notice much of a difference, all else being the same?

My mate got the AC 40's carbon clincher, at 40km/h they roll a lot better than my light alu clinchers. Makes a difference, only reason he drops me
