Which Rims for a heavier rider

As you do downhill go for the wider rim.  In general a rim with a more aero profile will be stronger than a more boxy one.  Eyelets usually - but not always - strengthen the rim.  A slightly deeper bead is also an advantage as "hits" are not as easily transferred to the double section of the rim where they are impossible to press out.  The biggest strengthener by far is more spokes but you have to make do with what you can get.

I weigh 105kg and currently ride South Industries carbon rims. Previously i were on WTB i23.

Biggest factor not so much the rim as the lacing thereof and the spokes used.

Would suggest a 32 hole laced 3x or 4x for increased stiffness with a heavier duty spoke. No use going for lightweight spokes. Get a reputable wheelbuilder and build your own wheels are my experience.

Either a WTB i25 or i30 or Arch ex alumunium rims as both are robust

Broken spokes sound like bad build quality, uneven tension. Broken rim or hub is possible too much weight. I have been riding rims with eyelets and without for the past 20 years and never broke a spoke or rim or hub. Only needed to replace them when I wrecked them. And because of finances I always had the cheaper stuff. BUT . . . my wheels were and will ALWAYS be built by the same guy.

Maybe its time too look for a new wheel builder.

PS: I weigh much more than you.

I ride 32 hole Hope Pro4 hubs, laced 3x with DT Swiss spokes onto Spank Oozy Trail 295 Bead-Bite rims and I'm super happy with my wheelset. I weigh 110kg and after six months they are still holding up and I hammer trails every weekend.
