On the website it states: Riders will receive their race packs containing all items required for the race. They will also collect their rider bags, participation shirts and have the opportunity to interact with various sponsors and suppliers prior to the race. But on their Facebook page it says that you have to buy this (small) bag: https://za.sciconbags.com/catalog/product/view/id/457/s/scicon-race-bag-cape-epic-edition/ Does anyone know if you get a rider bag for free of if you have to buy one?

Cloudbase999 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 The way I took it is that there will still be rider clothing bags as in previous years, albeit from a different sponsor - used for transporting clothing between overnight spots. This bag is a smaller helmet/shoe bag from the same supplier, but you can buy it if you like it. I guess as an incentive to get the extra dinero out of your wallet, this smaller bag will ALSO be allowed onto the truck for transport.
