I am also insured with Mutual & Federal and my bikes are part of the household insurance, however I recently found out that the policy doesn't cover any damages if the bikes are used during races as they see it as professional / commercial use. 

 

So I am going to be looking at alternatives in order to have cover during races.

I have specified all possible extras
