Rock Shox Monarch Grease and Oil?

Heya

So I want to try my hand at servicing my suspension, but from what I gather the grease and oil that Rock Shox recommend are pretty hard to come by in SA. Are there substitutes that I could use for Maxima 5w50 oil and Rock Shox dynamic seal grease?

The shock I'm servicing is a Monarch RC3 Plus Debonair.

You only need 0.2ml of the 5w50 oil - I used some from a fox float fluid pillow pack. Don't put in more than that, you'll end up with a stuck down shock as it can block the little holes that let air into the negative chamber (Guess how I know this).

You should be able to use red rubber grease to lube the seals and orings (I think?). I bought about half a litre of the sram pm600 military grease with my last order from the EU, it's red and greasy. Been using it with my pike/yari and rc3 for about a year now.

If you are going to service the damper as well as the air can you will need 3wt Rockshox oil as well as the grease and "Float Fluid".  You can use red rubber grease and synthetic gear oil (80wt) as substitutes for the seal grease and Maxima oil but I would get the real thing from hubber Droo (Eersterivier?)
