Hi Guys,

I am changing from a 32T Round Ring to a 34T Oval , Do I need to change my chain because of the bigger Ring  ? The 34T Oval chainring has an ovality of 32/36T.

I have only done about 300km on the chain , cassette and ring so all is still brand new.

thanks

I went from 28t my bike came with to 32t without adding links. No problem at all. So you probably won't have to add any links.

What bike was that ? ( I'm guessing spez Enduro ? )

It was a stumpy. Spez even spec the Cambers with a 28t. Dunno if they are expecting fat people to buy their bikes or what... can still understand 28t on an Enduro. But I'd expect a 30t on the Stumpy and 32t on the Camber.

Just make sure the 34t oval will not hit your chainstay. I can't fit one on my bike....
