Dullscalpel Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Hi everyone, I am new to tri and I am curious about where people do their open water swimming practices in the Cape Town area. I definitely want to do a couple of open water swim practices before my first triathlon, but I am unaware of potential areas/issues/safety etc. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Karman de Lange Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Join openwater facebook groups... Silvermine is very popular, the Sunday chocolate swim at camps bay , bmt in Stellenbosch, there also 3soms..(3rd sunday of month swim).. L
mon-goose Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 there's also the 1som swim at Clifton each month. Then ATC club do the waterfront canal swim each Friday.
