Maybe we can do a mass credit of the giant droppers, and swap for Lyne posts.. hahaha hahaha..

My third gen Giant post has been pretty good. There is a bit of play but it goes up and down and has never failed. I think I am on my second cable in around a year or more. The only problem is the stanchion wear. Its lost all the black in a line down the back of the post and a bit below the saddle clamp on the front. It has also started returning a tad slower of late. I am wondering if its the extra drag from the stanchion wear or the cartridge...

Most likely the wiper seal that's failed and the grease inside has turned to sludge. And as with most of the budget droppers you can't strip them down and change out the wiper seals, so when it's reached the end of its service life, throw it in the bin.
