Good day

I am band new in the cycle scene and have gotten myself a Scott Bicycle,

I was just wondering what is the best way to go about insuring the bicycle? would it be best to go through a company like cyclesure if not them please advise or would it be best to insure my bicycle through the company my car and house hold insurance is with?

I would greatly appreciate some direction on this.

When you go to cyclesure or other bike specific insurers, just make sure you are aware of all the clauses and requirements.

You can also add it to your current policy, but just make sure that they give you full all risk cover. Not all companies cover your bike if you had an accident during a ride/ race.

Compare premiums and excess as well.

Search Insurance and you will find numerous threads on the topic where you would find some valuable info and also from whom to stay away.

Cycle sure have been flawless in my experience , only had one claim so far.

But yes many people go through their brokers and add it onto their home and contents or something like that.

A guy called Myles is going to comment shortly he'll probably give a very clear answer.
